conventions, theatrical productions and distributions.

Logistics Associates was established in August 2001 by the two founding principals (Logistics Specialists) Tony D'Alessandro and Aziz Mohamed who together have, over 40 years of experience in the transportation logistics field. Carol D'Alessandro has been involved in an advisory capacity since its inception; and in 2003 she was appointed to VP, Business Development.
Thoroughly experienced in all aspects of moving freight to and from various venues such as Trade Shows, Conferences, Conventions, they quickly developed a niche for themselves as a supplier of transportation solutions for Trade Shows / Exhibit Transportation, as well as transporting equipment and props to special events, such as Concert engagements, Theatrical Productions etc.
They are proud to be a small specialty niche, customer service oriented company, supplying transportation solutions to Exhibit and Display Companies;. "Currently 80% of our business is from Exhibit and Display Houses. They are the companies that design, customize and build the Trade Show Booths. The other 20% of our business is direct business from large companies that exhibit at 4 or more trade shows a year throughout Canada or the U.S. Trade Shows offer the Exhibitor a unique and powerful selling opportunity; but they also pose a unique set of challenges. With extensive contacts within the Trade Show industry, we have a keen understanding of the unique challenges faced by exhibitors."
Although they have chosen to concentrate on the transportation of "trade show" freight they certainly have the requisite knowledge and experience to move all types of freight. Having acquired extensive knowledge in Trucking, Warehousing, Distribution, Air Freight and Ocean Freight while working for major freight forwarders, they are well equipped to assess your situation and provide the appropriate solution. What they hear time and time again from their clients is that "it is the expertise and knowledge of our Logistics Specialists that is most appreciated" by the clients. The transportation needs of each customer are individually assessed and special care is taken to meet each unique situation in the most efficient and prompt manner possible.
